Jasmine Lau

Jasmine Lau
Jasmine is a social entrepreneur and educator based in China. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of PIM, which provides young people with education, resources, and networks to become effective leaders and changemakers. She is also a board advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers initiative, which aims to promote collective citizen action globally to accomplish the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jasmine graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics and Peking University with a Masters in International Studies. Jasmine has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for her work in social entrepreneurship and the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper.
Jingwen Zheng

Joyce joined PIM early on its inception and has been one of the founding members shaping the organization. Currently, she is dedicated to her Ph.D. studies in Public Policy, focusing on policy evaluation, urban economics and development economics at George Washington University. Before embarking on her Ph.D. journey, Joyce gained valuable experience working on poverty alleviation and urban development projects with both the World Bank and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also accrued extensive fieldwork experience in diverse countries, such as Tanzania, Malaysia, and Thailand. Joyce grew up in Yong’an and Fuzhou in Fujian, China and holds a Master’s degree from Cornell University.
Danyi Peng

Danyi Peng
Starting from a young age, Danyi has been passionate about the power of media and design to create positive impact and thrill audiences. Throughout college, Danyi explored her potential in many different areas, including journalism, design, consulting and impact investing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Info Systems from Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Columbia University.
Prior to working for PIM, Danyi joined a media start-up specialized in the beauty and wellness industry as a journalist and partner. Danyi loves leveraging storytelling, design, and business to come up with innovative solutions. On a typical week, you will find Danyi interviewing founders and management teams, writing business and interview articles, designing course content for her start-up, creating marketing materials for PIM, or teaching yoga and dance classes in the studio.
Haolan Duan
Program Manager

Haolan Duan
Haolan is passionate at the combination of technology and social impact. With the knowledge and skills in data science and natural science, she looks for the methods of leveraging the power of science in real-world problems. Besides work, she is an amateur Brazilian Jiu Jiutsu trainer. Haolan is pursuing Master’s degree at Nanyang Technological University – Singapore, and she graduated from the University of Michigan.
Kenny Leung

Kenny Leung
Kenny is a seasoned executive and board member in the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) field with nearly 20 years of experience on organizational and people development. Kenny graduated at the City University of Hong Kong major in Business Administration and Project Management. At the earliest years of career, Kenny worked in a global quality management firm targeting to implement international standards and compliances to the hotel industry. In 2006, Kenny had a chance to join a global program in Kenya for community development and social impact project. Since then, Kenny has spent full time in the NGO field participated in some interesting development programs in North Korea, Inner Mongolia, Hebei province and lastly stationed in Beijing for about 7 years. In the past few years, Kenny was an Operation Director and Chief Executive in Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation respectively to drive sustainable development and youth empowerment projects in Mainland China.
Leslie Dong

Leslie Dong
Leslie is a seasoned professional in the field of professional development, cultural exchange, and global education. Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Leslie is fluent in American English, Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Cantonese, and is also an intermediate Korean speaker. Leslie has helped organize a variety of leadership program all over the world including in Korea, Malaysia, the United States, Switzerland, and more with a focus on creating interactive workshops on storytelling, public speaking, and cross cultural communication. Leslie graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a 3.98 GPA and is an awardee of over 30 scholarships totaling over 1.3 million RMB.
Liew Ting Ting

Ting Ting is passionate about social impact, innovation, business development, and the nexus among these three areas. She was previously a Business Partner in Enterprise Singapore, a government agency that champions enterprise growth through. Ting Ting graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Social Work. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at Yenching Academy, Peking University. She is currently working on her thesis regarding the development of on social entrepreneurship in China. During her free time, you can catch Ting Ting running, doing aerial yoga, or finding the best dessert in town!
Melody Su

Jersey-born and California-raised, I am a proud daughter of Taiwanese immigrants who has spent the past decade on a journey to assist the next generation of young scholars become global participants in society. Growing up, I am fortunate to have been exposed to the culture of both the east and west, cherishing the values my parents instilled in me. I have lived and worked in five countries, and, while I have primarily focused on college counseling, I have served in a variety of other capacities both in titles and duties. As a lifelong educator, I aim to create environments for students to mindfully seek, critically-think of, and embrace diverse perspectives.
After graduating from UCSB with a Bachelors in Sociology and USC with a Masters in Postsecondary Administration & Student Affairs, I accepted an opportunity to work as an international admissions counselor in Beijing. For three and a half years, I worked in China, connecting with my Chinese cultural roots through living, working, and traveling. Currently based in Taiwan, I am continuing my mission in bridging the world through storytelling and education with my dual roles as a Program Director at PIM as well as a podcast host for the bilingual channel, Cultural Collision. Through Cultural Collision, my co-host and I interview people from different walks of life to share their stories with our audience, covering topics such as gender inequality, reverse culture shock, and communication styles.
With my mission to create an interconnected world, I am eager to be a part of PIM to push forward opportunities for students around the world to actively make real impact through projects and engagement.
Scott Dooley

Scott Dooley
Scott has always been drawn to business and technology. He taught himself how to code in high school. After that, he studied Marketing at university. From there, he gained experience leading marketing for companies in Edinburgh and London. In search of adventure and a desire to form his own path, Scott left the city and went freelance, pursuing the “digital nomad” life as a software developer. A few years ago, he started a company targeting the corporate training sector – tying together his interests in education, business, and technology. Now, his energy is split between his former business – helping people create great digital experiences online – and the day-to-day running of Measured Collective.
Yan Chen
Innovation & Design Lead

Yan Chen
Yan is an interdisciplinary designer with experience building products & services and facilitating innovation & strategy workshops in Asia, Europe, and North America. She has worked in corporate innovation, education, and product development, including taking a Red Dot Award winning product from concept to market in 13 months. She is currently building products to help women manage their health and wellbeing in midlife, doing material experimentation with food waste, and designing a holistic service to help people experiencing homelessness to re-enter society. She holds an MA/MSc in Innovation Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.
