About Tech4Good

Tech4Good is a cutting-edge tech startup education program, organized by PIM as part of Huawei’s signature CSR initiative – Seeds for the Future. The program is designed to engage and empower 3000 university students from over 100 countries, equipping them with the skills they need to explore the latest digital trends and develop solutions to solve real-world social challenges. Role Overview

The Event Programs Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of PIM’s Tech4Good program. They will assist in venue selection, coordinate site visits with client teams, manage logistics including technology needs and supplies procurement, and ensure effective communication between the PIM team and clients. The Event Programs Assistant will be responsible for overseeing room setup, technology maintenance, record-keeping, and coordination to ensure the program stays on schedule. This role will work closely with the PIM Program Lead and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in venue selection and conduct site visits with client teams to offer recommendations.
  • Familiarize oneself with different venues, technology requirements, and classroom configurations.
  • Manage printing and procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Maintain professional communication with the PIM team and clients.
  • Support the smooth operations of the program, including monitoring room setup, technology functionality, record-keeping, and coordination to ensure adherence to the schedule.
  • Facilitate communication between mentors and students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (mandatory) and the language of the local region.
  • Proficient in using tools such as Canva, Airtable, and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

  • Shenzhen, China 
    Program will be in September and October
