What is the Management Trainee Program?

The Management Trainee Program at PIM is designed for undergraduates, master’s students, and gap year students who are eager to gain practical experience and develop a wide range of skills. As a Management Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with various departments at PIM, including programs, impact evaluation, education facilitation, marketing, and business development. This program offers both an internship and a learning opportunity, allowing you to customize your own learning plan and receive mentorship from senior staff members.

Key Highlights:

  • Work on diverse projects ranging from organizing a Global Competition on Technology for Good to creating a social entrepreneurship accelerator
  • Collaborate with a global team of mentors from over 30+ countries and students representing 100+ countries
  • Gain exposure to leading corporates, foundations, universities, accelerators, and global entrepreneurs and experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the program management team to plan and deliver PIM 10th Anniversary events, Tech4Good offline programs, and Tech4Good online mentorship events.
  • Gather content, conduct interviews, and capture visual materials to showcase student projects, success stories, and mentorships initiatives, and enhance the organization’s brand visibility and engagement on our social media accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, instructional design, and program management to align content creation with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, new educational methodologies, and relevant topics to make recommendations for process improvements and for content creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient English (mandatory) and Chinese (preferred)
  • Undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation for social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in using the following tools: Canva, Zoom, Google.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and
  • effectively in cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback and input from various stakeholders.

Key details

Time Commitment: Minimum commitment of 6 months
Meeting Commitments: Must be available for team meetings (Tuesday 9:30-10:30 am China time)
Location: Remote
