[Event Recap] 2024 Global Impact Awards Celebration

On 4 December 2024, PIM brought together its vibrant global community of mentors, facilitators and partners for the 2024 Global Impact Celebration. It was a day of reflection, celebration and inspiration, as we also mark our 10th anniversary of inspiring youth changemakers.

In case you missed it, these were the highlights from the evening!

Celebrating a Year of Impact

Looking back at 2024, PIM has had a fulfilling year. We held five Tech4Good programmes across Asia, Europe and Africa, that supported youth changemakers who are passionate about using tech to solve issues in healthcare, agriculture, sustainability and more. Additionally, FarmAi, our TechImpact Incubator alumni has also made breakthroughs in its funding. This was only possible with the tenacity of the founding team and support from the mentors.

Lastly, we also partnered with SEO China to host the Public Leadership Camp, which brought youths from six Chinese provinces together for an inspiring weekend on philanthropy. In total, PIM has empowered 837 youths, in 106 countries, and distributed 107,000 USD in 2024. It is our hope that we will catalyse these youths to become leaders for the future ready to take on the world’s most pressing challenges.

Thank You to Our MVPs

The evening was not only about celebrating achievements but also honouring the individuals who made PIM’s work possible: our incredible community of mentors, judges and facilitators. They have played pivotal roles in advancing PIM’s mission, working together to create meaningful change. To that end, we surprised the community members with a series of awards to honour our MVPs. This is what some of them had to say…

What’s Ahead in 2025

As the celebration drew to a close, we were left with a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead. The team is buzzing with excitement as the series of regional competitions in 2024 will finally culminate in the Tech4Good Global Competition 2025.

Additionally, we are launching a Social Entrepreneurship Masterclass, a series of highly interactive workshops that will equip budding social entrepreneurs with practical tools and strategies to build their ventures, tackling areas like leadership, branding and financial sustainability.

Lastly, building upon our strong foundation in empowering social entrepreneurs and tech startups, PIM has launched the InnovImpact Incubator (III), a four-month program to empower high-potential startups in areas like Healthtech and Greentech to take their solutions to market launch. Calls for applications have opened!

All our achievements and plans ahead would not have been possible without our global community of changemakers. Here is to another year of innovation, collaboration, and purpose in motion!
