Nurturing Future Innovators & Changemakers: How the Regional Tech Program & Accelerator Works
Tech Program
The Regional Tech Program & Accelerator is broken down into two parts. The first part features a week-long, offline program that consists of rigorous tech and innovation workshops, skill-building seminars, hands-on projects, site visits to tech start-ups, cultural tours along with mentorship from successful entrepreneurs and tech experts.
During this week, student teams will work closely with mentors to follow the design thinking process to investigate the problem, ideate solutions, create a business model, develop prototypes, and test their idea. Following the foundation course, students will delve into key startup topics such as team building, customer identification, financial analysis, storytelling, and more.

Regional Accelerator
Following the week-long tech program is a week-long entrepreneurship accelerator program. The top teams from the first week of the program advance to another week-long accelerator program to hone their ideas in preparation for a Global Tech Competition.
Through the accelerator program, participants will engage in more in-depth guided mentorship sessions, skill-focused workshops, and site visits inclusive of entrepreneurial organizations and cultural sites.
The winning team of the accelerator will have the chance to compete in global competitions, receive additional mentorships, and even opportunities to receive funding for their startup idea.
